NSTAR (Eversource Energy) filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service electricity rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO, for the period beginning July 1, 2022.
All rates below reflect the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard, and Clean Peak Standard Adders.
Filed new WMECO fixed residential basic service rate for the period July through December 2022 is 15.348 cents per kWh, which is 12% higher than the current rate of 13.731 cents per kWh
Filed new WMECO fixed small C&I basic service rate for the period July through December 2022 is 14.978 cents per kWh, which is 15% higher than the current rate of 13.035 cents per kWh
WMECO rates are below in ¢/kWh, and include currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard, and Clean Peak Standard Adders, respectively.
